Saturday March 16th:
Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade: This is always a fun parade for the whole family to attend. The parade starts/ends in Midtown and begins at Noon sharp and is a good solid hour parade (if not a little longer). Admission: Free! (https://atlantastpats.com/)
Ri Ra Atlanta St. Patricks Outdoor Festival: Located in Midtown, Ri Ra is hosting their inaugral Paddyfest. Festivities start at 8:30AM for the final day of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament. At 11AM, hang outside with live music rocking in the streets, Irish dance performances, a beer truck and bar. Tickets $15. Outdoor Events at Fado Buckhead: This is both on Saturday and Sunday at Fado’s in the Shops of Buckhead. The pub opens at 7:30AM to watch international sports (rugby), live music starts at 1:30PM outside and 5PM inside. Atlanta St. Patricks Parade 5K Run/Walk: Get your running shoes on and head over to Midtown’s Colony Square at 10AM to participate in the 5th annual 5K run/walk. The route runs through parts of Midtown including Piedmont Park and Peachtree Street. Grab a beer a the finish and then stay for the St. Patty’s Day parade starting at noon right on Peachtree Street. Shamrock N’ Roll Race: The 15th Annual 5K/10K race sponsored by the Junior League of Atlanta starts/ends at Atlantic Station. Irish Lights Festival: Starting at 2PM, Park Tavern in Piedmont Park will be hosting Social Mess which will be featuring headliner band Lost Kings.
