Today is an exciting day for a very sweet couple. Please welcome Matt and April to Virginia Highland! They just closed on a super cute and renovated bungalow located on an excellent street in Virginia Highland. They are now a short walk over to the main drag of Virginia Highland where they can enjoy eating at all the delicious restaurants and pubs. I met Matt and April over TWO years ago when they first inquired about a home for sale in Virginia Highland. We checked out a few homes over the next few months but wasn’t really finding anything great. Meanwhile, Matt and April continued to live in the Brookhaven area, got married, and then fast forward two years, they began to seriously search again for homes this summer. At first, Matt & April had decided to look more in the Brookhaven area. We debated on a few homes in that area and came close to going under contract on one of them and all of a sudden I spotted this lovely gem that came on the market in Virginia Highland. Based on its awesome condition (which is almost rare these days to find a bungalow with a normal layout and nicely renovated) I knew it wouldn’t last long. Matt & April did not pause to drive down and view it and then we submitted our offer, along with 5 other buyers. Hooray for us, because we came out on top!
I am thrilled that Matt and April will be joining the Virginia Highland neighborhood. I’m a little biased because I live in the area too, but I think they will really enjoy the location. Welcome Matt and April to Virginia Highland!
