Today was a happy closing day for James & Erin, who just purchased this beautiful renovated brick traditional home in Peachtree Park! Erin is a repeat client of mine (it was so nice to work with her again!) and was ready to upsize from her adorable bungalow home in Grant Park to something her and her husband, James, could grow into. While we scoured the market in a range of different areas, it seems that Erin & James’ eyes were drawn to lower Buckhead neighborhoods like Peachtree Hills, Garden Hills, and Peachtree Park. I can’t blame them, they are some of my favorite Buckhead areas that provide quaint, peaceful neighborhoods yet are ideally located within minutes of all the Buckhead attractions and a quick drive over to the Midtown area too.
Their new Peachtree Park home was tastefully renovated and has a surprisingly normal floor-plan considering it’s a 1940’s house. I love the flooring finishes throughout the home including the tile-work in the master bathroom. Plus, the sunroom makes the perfect office. I also like how this home sits back pretty far from the road to really get a feeling of privacy. The neighborhood is just adorable and I can already envision them taking many evening strolls through these streets. I cannot say a bigger congrats to Erin & James on their first home purchase together as a married couple! This home will surely be filled with lots of family memories. Congrats!!
