Everybody welcome Erin to Grant Park! She just closed on a SUPER adorable, renovated 2/2 bungalow in a great location near Grant Park. I’m so thrilled that she was able to snatch this home up! We got pretty lucky in getting this one. This home was originally under contract within a day, then when it came back on the market, that is when I told Erin we should hurry to go see it. We weren’t quite fast enough because it went under contract again while we were looking at it. (This home was getting soooo much interest!) Obviously, we both were disappointed to hear the news but continued to monitor the market. I kept in close contact with the seller and out of the blue one afternoon I got a phone call from the seller asking if we were still interested. We didn’t hesitate to get our offer in and were under contract within that same day.
This will be Erin’s first house and it was a bit of a whirlwind. The inspection, appraisal, and repair process was escalated since we were closing in just over 2 weeks. This can be intimidating for first time home buyers, but Erin handled everything with a sense of calmness and ease.
I had just met Erin via our Nest website (www.NestAtlanta.com) and this home was the first and only house we ever looked at together. It sounds kind of silly, but I am sort of sad that we didn’t get to spend as much time hunting for homes. I usually learn so much about buyers (what their style is like, what they do for fun, etc) and I feel like there is still so much I don’t know about Erin! I am so grateful that she trusted my opinions and judgment on this home having just met me. I really do feel like there is not much else out there right now in Grant Park that can compare. It’s rare to find a 2/2 in such beautiful shape and have a pretty backyard.
