You are looking at Grant Park’s newest homeowners/investors, Nick and Sarah! Today they just bought a duplex in Grant Park that is going to be a terrific investment for them as Grant Park continues to explode.
When I first met Nick and Sarah from an inquiry from our Nest Team’s website, I quickly realized that this was a wonderful couple to work with. As we looked at lots and lots of different home options, I also got a chance to learn a little more about them. One of their goals was to buy a home or duplex that they could rent out for years to come. Sarah asked me about this duplex in Grant Park and while it needs some updating on the inside, it seemed to check off all the boxes they were looking for.
I have to give Nick & Sarah a pat on the back. They are first time homebuyers and when we ran into a few snags along the road they seemed to handle everything with such calmness. Plus, they were able to get a renovation loan which is a time consuming/involved process. I think many would have thrown in the towel, but Nick and Sarah stuck with it. I cannot wait to see what this duplex looks like after it is renovated.
