Cheers to Mike and Jillian who just bought a brand new construction home in East Atlanta!! First off – Mike & Jillian were just so much fun to work with. From the moment we exchanged emails, I already got a great sense of Jillian’s humor and just overall delightful personality (oh and Mike was totally cool too – very easy going, upfront and honest). Jillian and Mike were curious to check out some bungalow homes in areas like Kirkwood, East Atlanta, etc just to see if they would like the home styles and the area. They were living in Smyrna and were thinking about living closer into town near walkable areas to enjoy restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. We met up one Sunday afternoon and checked out a few homes together and what I loved about them was that they could make a decision rather quickly about whether they liked a home or not.
They realized after that day of home browsing that moving into the city was definitely calling their name and quickly moved on getting their Smyrna home listed and making an offer on this brand new construction home in East Atlanta. Ya’ll, this home is just lovely. It only took about 10 seconds after walking into the home that I could sense that for Mike & Jillian, this home was the ONE. From the rocking chair front porch (a must on Jillian’s wish list), to the open living/kitchen area, the mud-room, and super level and fenced-in backyard for their dogs…we knew this was it. Oh, and I cannot go on without mentioning one of the best features of the house – the butcher board island in the kitchen. We all just LOVE it so much and it’s truly a show stopper.
I’m so excited for Mike and Jillian to be moving into the city. You are going to love it!
