An exciting way to end this month was to watch Matt and Trisha get the keys to their beautiful new home in Tucker. I received an inquiry from them several months back about their house hunt and we soon started scouring the market for a ranch home. Having owned a condo, they were ready to up-size to something a bit bigger and also have a yard. The item really big on their wish list included a home with a finished basement. We scoured several homes from North Decatur, to Sandy Springs and Dunwoody, and also over in Tucker. I happened to see this new listing in Tucker and we immediately jumped in our cars to check it out. After viewing some so-so homes and complete fixer uppers, this home definitely stood out from the rest. It was recently renovated from head to toe and had a finished basement! Even the home inspector was astonished at how well the previous owners had renovated this ranch home. I just love the open floor plan (which is not typical in most of the ranch homes you find in the Tucker area). The spacious living room opens up into the gorgeous kitchen featuring white marble countertops. The entire back of the home overlooks a small lake which only adds additional charm to this home’s location. There is plenty of yard space too which is perfect for Trisha to put her magic gardening touch on. Their surrounding neighborhood is tranquil and I can see the leisurely walks around the area happening already.
I truly had a great time helping this fantastic couple find their new home. They took their time to find what they wanted and were so calm throughout the entire process. Congrats to Matt and Trisha!
