Today is an overall big transition day for Jan and Bob. They moved across the country from the beautiful state of Washington all the way down south to live like a southerner here in Georgia. Jan and Bob just bought a lovely home in Snellville which features the most jaw-dropping front yard entrance. (More on the house in a moment). I received an email inquiry from our Nest Atlanta website and when I spoke with Jan and Bob on the phone to see how I could help them, I already sensed that they were just an overall nice couple to work with. They had been doing their own homework in advance and had really narrowed down their choices of homes. The exact location was still up for debate so we checked out several different areas while they visited Atlanta for a week. From Tucker to Lawrenceville and a little bit of everything in between – we scoured our options until the decision was made that this home in Snellville was the ONE.
A few must haves on Jan and Bob’s list were to have a garage and a bedroom on the main floor. The home has a very nice flow to it and has tons of space for guests and storage. The updated kitchen has loads of storage and even their laundry room has great counter space. I know Bob & Jan really like having a nice outdoor space for relaxing and if you go out to their expansive deck in the back, you are surrounded by trees that make you feel like you are in your own private wooded area. But if that isn’t enough, the view of the home as you pull up the long driveway is beautiful. The expansive green lawn and mature lined trees draw your eyes towards the brick traditional home in the distance. It is just a beautiful setting.
Congrats to Bob & Jan on your wonderful home and best wishes as you settle here in the south! Get used to hearing “ya’ll” and the use of the word “coke” for ordering any type of soft drink. 🙂
