North Decatur

Just north of City of Decatur and south of I-85 is an expansive area collectively called North Decatur. There is a collection of neighborhoods that make up this area including Medlock Park, Clairmont Heights, and Leafmore Creek to name a few. In these areas, you'll find a mixture of townhomes, ranch homes on sprawling lots, and smaller single-level traditional homes. These neighborhoods are nearby to the popular Toco Hills Shopping Center (including a Publix, Kroger, and over a dozen casual restaurants) and also next to Mason Mill Park which includes a 3 mile walking trail, playground equipment, and the popular Dekalb Tennis Center. The areas around here will feel slighly more suburban yet only about 15-20 minutes to the center of the city. It is also a convenient location near Emory. Home values here can range from the $500K price point up to $1MM+.
