Medlock Park

Medlock Park is a small neighborhood in the North Decatur area that is conveniently located just east of the Emory campus. Homes in Medlock Park are primarily small ranch style homes on large lots (0.3-0.4 acres). Medlock Park is a good value for being 20-25 minutes away from the center of Atlanta. One can find a ranch anywhere between the low $500K-$700K range. This neighborhood includes a beautiful park (called Medlock Park) with playground equipment, baseball fields, and a public swimming pool. It also includes phenomenal boardwalk-style walking trails that connect to Mason Mill Park. While there are no local restaurants or coffee shops in this neighborhood, Medlock Park is just across the street from a huge North Decatur shopping district that includes several casual eateries (Cava, Starbucks, Chick Fil A, First Watch, etc) and a Sprouts, Wal-Mart, and Whole Foods. This is an excellent spot to live for those looking for a short commute to Emory.
