Lindridge-Martin Manor is an underrated Atlanta neighborhood that is within 10-15 mintues to the center of the city, quick access to I-85, and the best part of all? The prices in this neighborhood are slightly more reasonable than if you were to look at a neighborhood that is just a tad closer in to the center of Atlanta. This community is a quiet neighborhood where you'll find many residents walking their dogs during the day. There is an abundance of smaller ranch homes and newer builds are popping up in the neighborhood as well. If you are hoping for a large lot, you can find a pretty decent one in Lindridge-Martin Manor (0.30 acres on average). Prices range from the mid $500's for a smaller ranch to mid-$700's for a fully decked out larger ranch. Newer construction will be just over the $1MM but that is a much better deal than if you were to look nextdoor in Morningside. Lindridge-Martin Manor is convenient to everything - Buckhead, Midtown (both about 10-12 minutes away) and also very close to Publix, Target, and a Kroger. The only downsides is that this neighborhood probably doesn't have much walkability in terms of finding a trendy coffee shop nearby but if a nice leisurely stroll in a neighborhood is what you are looking for, you can certainly do that here.
