Edgewood

If you are looking for an affordable Intown Atlanta home, one area to consider is the neighborhood of Edgewood. Wedged in between Dekalb Ave and Memorial Dr, is the small neighborhood of Edgewood. Granted, this area is a bit rough around the edges with several abandoned and/or unkept properties, but that is quickly changing. More newer homes & townhomes are popping up throughout the neighborhood and Edgewood is an area where you can find a modern style home at a more affordable Intown Atlanta price point. The location of Edgewood is attractive as it has easy access to I-20, is located right next to the popular Edgewood Shopping District for your daily groceries at Kroger, Target shopping, etc, and it is also within walking distance to the MARTA. You have to check out Edgewood's neighborhood gem - El Tesoro which has a great patio space that serves up some killer tacos and margaritas.
