Put your hands together for Jessica who both closed on the sale of her Midtown condo located at Spire and her new townhome purchase over in Toco Hills! Jessica is a good friend of mine who is my running buddy. We pretty much catch up on life every Saturday morning on our 7AM jogs. Jessica mentioned on one of her jogs that her mom was going to be coming into town and would be interested in helping her casually look at some townhomes. (Jessica had been thinking about up-sizing from her 1-bedroom condo to something a little larger so her mom could comfortably visit for longer lengths of time). I of course was more than happy to spend an afternoon with them to show them some of the latest options around town. (It was just as fun for them as it was for me!) None of us really expected to find something of interest – it was more intended for an educational trip to see what was out there.
A few days after our casual outing, Jessica was really considering one of the townhomes we visited that weekend. I can’t blame her – it was pretty much perfect for her in all aspects. It was only a year old townhome with all the latest and greatest features every buyer is looking for. Plus, the location is perfectly located for work and everyday life.
We quickly made an offer and also got her condo ready to list within that same week. (Thanks Jessica for having your condo in tip-top shape for showings and congrats on getting it sold quickly with multiple offers!). I’m sure it was a bit of a whirlwind for Jessica to manage work while buying and selling homes all at the same time, especially because this all happened so suddenly. But Jessica, as always, acted as calm as a cucumber (even if her head was spinning on the inside). Enjoy the awesome new townhome!
