It’s Friday and closing day for this wonderful couple – Christian & Jessica! They just got keys to their new home located in Lake Claire. You all – I can’t tell you how THRILLED I am for this young couple to have found their first home. I met them over 3 years ago when they first moved back to Atlanta after living in New York for several years. While not strangers to Atlanta, they did need to re-familiarize themselves with the Atlanta neighborhoods as things in Atlanta have been rapidly changing. We initially searched for homes in several different areas of town but then took a break from looking. Fast forward a few years and here we are in 2018 and I remember Jessica telling me that “We are really ready this time.” So the hunt began again!
Christian and Jessica’s main criteria were to be located in a good school district, have a backyard, and no corner lots! Long story short, we found a move-in ready home located in Lake Claire. Of course, as expected in this market, this house had extreme interest and 6 total offers on the table. Christian & Jessica were willing to go in full-throttle with suggestions I made to help them win the bidding war and we won indeed! I can’t tell you how happy I am for this couple as Lake Claire had always been one of their top neighborhood choices. I knew the odds of finding something in this tight buyer’s market and in their budget was going to be tough (hence the multiple offers on this home) so I am beyond ecstatic that we got into Lake Claire.
