Today was a bittersweet day for me. I can officially say that my client/friend’s Plaza Midtown condo has been sold today. I remember helping Claire buy this condo a little over a year ago, (14 months ago to be exact). Her and I both were excited about her great Atlanta Midtown location and the great views she had from her 14th floor, 2 bedroom condo. However, life goes on and Claire had a job relocation out of state. So, it was time to sell her condo. The sad part is that she had to leave Atlanta, her friends (like me!), and her condo. But the exciting part is that the value of Claire’s Midtown condo had increased by 20% in just over 1 year! That is phenomenal!! I know some (including myself) may have thought that they have missed the boat to invest in Midtown condos, but this example just shows how there is still a demand for Midtown condos. In fact, it has been pretty difficult to find any decent 2 bedroom/2 bath condos under $350K in Midtown over the past several months.
