Looking for fun things to do in Atlanta this March?  It’s finally March which means that Spring time is approaching, the weather gets nice, all the flowers start to bloom, and if you are like me – I am antsy to get outside and enjoy Atlanta festivals!

Here are 5 fun things happening in Atlanta this March 2017:

1) Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival (March 4th @ 2PM) – This is taking place at Atlantic Station.  It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon sampling some bbq and sampling 60 beers & 40 bourbons.  Whew..that sounds like a lot.  For more info and tickets visit their website: http://www.beerandbourbon.com/show-info-0
2) Oyster/Crawfish Festival (March 4th, 2017 @ 2 PM) – This is happening at Park Tavern in Midtown.  If you love oysters/crawfish, music, and a good backdrop (Piedmont Park), then this is for you.  Cowboy Mouth will be performing (shout out to Cowboy Mouth — I actually met the lead singer while at an airport last year) The tickets generally sell out so definitely check the website to see if tickets are still available : http://www.parktavern.com/events/oysterfest-with-spiral-entertainment
3) St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 11, 2017 @ Noon) –
Head over to Midtown for the 1 1/2 hour parade celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! This is fun for the whole family.  Make sure to wear your green!  Get the full details here: http://atlantastpats.com/
4) Atlanta Publix Marathon & 1/2 Marathon (March 19 @ 7AM) – Okay, so this isn’t quite a festival, but I love running so I want to give a shout-out to those that enjoy running as much as I do!  Even if you don’t run, it’s still fun to head out somewhere along the course and cheer on runners.  Make a funny sign or do a silly dance to help them whisk through all those miles!  Full race details: http://www.publix.com/publix-georgia-marathon/race-details
5) Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival (March 25 & 26) – Fun for the whole family!  Enjoy crafts, festival food, and live music in Brookhaven’s Blackburn Park.  Other events during the festival include a 5K race, stunt dog shows, a pet costume contest and parade, and a classic car show.  For full details: http://www.brookcherryfest.org
Whatever March Festivals you attend in Atlanta, hope you enjoy the weather, food, and “festival-ing” with friends!
