Druid Hills

Between Virginia-Highland and Decatur you will find the beautiful Emory University campus and the Druid Hills neighborhood. As one of Atlanta’s most affluent neighborhoods, Druid Hills shows off its historical elegance with grand tudor style homes. You’ll find as you search for Druid Hills real estate that there is a wide range of homes including many larger, historical homes on spacious lots. The CDC is located here along with Atlanta’s 3rd largest employer, Emory University (and its hospitals). A new development called Emory Point along Clifton Rd has just been added a few years ago, filled with restaurants and shopping. It’s easy to get enamored in the windy roads and large, shady trees as you drive around Druid Hills. Also in the area is the Druid Hills Country Club, one of the small number of private country clubs inside the city limits. The schools in the area include Fernbank Elementary, Druid Hills Middle, and Druid Hills High School, (all of which are public), a private pre-K-12 school called Paideia, and Emory University (private university).
